Junior Squad

Wendouree-Ballarat RC invites Ballarat rower's and cox's aged 13-17 to participate in the Junior Squad Training. All participants must hold a WBRC Rowing Membership or WBRC Coxing Membership - available here.

WBRC Rowing Memberships are $350 per season and include access to all training programs offered until the end of the current rowing season (July 31 2027).

WBRC Coxing memberhsips are free.

The program runs across term 4 2026 & term 1 2027 and focuses on a fun & positive atmosphere and competition at regattas while building strentgth & skills in rowing. Regattas are held both locally and regionally in Victoria. The program is free for current WBRC Junior Members. There is no charge for cox's to participate.

If a crew is of a competitive enough level, WBRC will support that crew in attending the Australian Rowing Championships.

The first session is Monday 5th October, 4:00pm - 6:00pm. Students must sign up weekly for each session here (you must be signed in to your account to register, sessions are available for registration from 7 days in advance).

All sessions are led by WBRC Coaching Staff.

Students aged 13 - 18 and have competed a school based learn to row are encouraged to sign up.

Please note this program is not suitable for learn tor row.

Weekly schedule:

• Monday 4:00pm-6:00pm
• Wednesday 4:00pm-6:00pm
• Saturday 8:00am-10:00am
• Additional sessions may be added in consultation with athletes and coaches
